We're finally back to reality after a glorious honeymoon.
We continue to relive the memories of our wedding day, and truly can never thank you enough for bringing our dream day to life. Everything was exactly as we had wanted (and far beyond what we could ever have hoped for!) - from the flowers to the food to the stationary to the lighting to the band and photographer, each element was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for coordinating with our families as well, allowing them to introduce some fun traditions and for making sure the entire evening went so smoothly; we both had the most magical time and owe so much of that to you! Kirsty helped us craft a beautiful 3 day celebration in the Cape Winelands for our friends and family. The organisation leading up to the day was easy and hassle free, we communicated regularly by email and Whats-app and had the odd video call when needed. Kirsty listened to all our ideas, made fabulous suggestions and helped guide us on what we needed to do and organise at each stage of the process. Kirsty also recommended so many wonderful small details to help tailor our events to our guests and each person that attended commented on a different aspect of the celebrations they had loved.

The day-of coordination could not have been better and Kirsty literally took all the stress away, allowing us to relax and not think about anything other than enjoying ourselves. All of our guests, whether local or international, had such a great time – as did we – and this wouldn’t have been possible without Kirsty’s attention to detail, professionalism and knowledge of her industry allowing her to execute such a thoughtful and well curated series of events. Above all she was a dream to work with and a wonderful part of our wedding experience.

First off, Cape Town was the most genius place to have the wedding and I am so happy that I got to benefit from the beauty of the city. But most importantly, all our international guests absolutely LOVED it! They turned their trip into a week long holiday and enjoyed the weather, food, wine and tourist attractions to such an extent that for months after they were thanking us for giving them an excuse to visit SA for the first time. Then I got to Kirsty. Well, what a life save.   What an amazing experience working with Kirsty! I connected immediately, she listened to my wants and needs and then catered the planning perfectly around that. Kirsty was methodical about timelines and keeping me informed every step of the way with what was happening. She took care of absolutely everything including all my guests’ travel, transfer and accommodation and I literally handed all responsibility over to her. The planning process proved to be as easy as pie, thanks only to the brilliant Kirsty!
Then came the wedding day itself. It was absolutely perfect! I wanted to thank you for all your help and support that you provided both Andrew and myself but mostly myself in the lead up and on the day of our wedding!  As I mentioned to you on the phone the week after our wedding, the attention to detail and you simply dealing with everything that was thrown your way very calmly in the background was fantastic.  We all know that a few curve balls where part of the day, but at no point did I feel any of the stresses that you personally must have felt that day!   Whilst you dealt with all the various elements incredibly well you also managed to add a fantastic romantic touch to all our little requests.  The hanging of the hearts in the tree in the garden along with the words and the messages was a beautiful touch.  Having you there on our day was so calming and an incredible comfort to me.  I remember very clearly you walking up to the manor house first thing that morning, with the biggest smile on your face and a sense of complete control of what had to be achieved that day.  I believe that you being on the ball and in “event mode” allowed me to be relaxed and truly enjoy the build up of our day.  That was the biggest concern of mine, was how I would let go of event organising when that is what I do every day of my life.

Of all the people in the world who know me best, both my mom and Andrew thought you were an angel in disguise and completely appreciate all that you did for us.  I feel that we have made a friend in you and I do honestly hope to be able to recommend you to any of my friends or colleagues and hope to send future business your way.

OMG love, love, love!!! I am so pleased with them not only because Greg does such an amazing job but because of everything you did behind the scenes to make sure they looked this way!

I can't thank you enough for making our trip to Cape Town and our wedding in South Africa the most amazing experience ever. Our wedding was absolutely everything we wanted it to be, we wouldn't have changed a thing! I hate to use the term vendors because after meeting everyone they were more like friends but you really have the best "vendors" from photography, videography,  makeup, and of course our minister Patrick that I feel so fortunate that we had you as our wedding planner. You made this process so stress free and were so great at communicating and finding exactly what I was looking for.

Dearest Kirsty!  Makura and I wanted to write you personally to express our gratitude for your making our wedding day one which we, our families and friends will remember for a life time.  Selecting a wedding coordinator from miles away and via internet can be an unsettling and daunting task - to say the least.  From the very beginning of our destination wedding process, you managed to put us both at ease with your professionalism, your attention to detail, and your promptness – and this was without us having met!  I was most grateful for your honoring the intimate and loving atmosphere we wanted to create as a result of your suggesting venues, an officiant, and vendors who were capable of providing services to our specifications.  When I flew to Cape Town to meet you, to visit our venue of choice, and to speak with vendors, I knew that Makura and I had found the person who would assist us in capturing the essence of our relationship, our love, and the type of people we are.   On a personal note, I still remember your kind words on my wedding day when I was bundle of nerves.  Those were the words, not only of a wedding coordinator, but of a generous human being who understands that love and marriage are still indeed sacred.   You should know that we are still reliving our wedding day, and I trust that we’ll continue to do so for a very long time.  Our families and friends are still singing praises as a result of the beautiful affair we had.  Makura and I believe that our amazing and memorable wedding day is indicative of the wonderful life we are committed to share together. Dearest Kirsty,   this note is to say a huge THANK YOU for what was easily the best day of our lives! It was 43 degrees (and I think that was in the shade!), but you completely kept your cool and ensured that everything went off so smoothly (your smiling face holding our bouquets at the top of the drive was the perfect start!). The beautiful wine farm that you suggested for our wedding, Molenvliet, was even more stunning on the day than I could have imagined and every little detail that we’d thought of and discussed came together so perfectly on the day. Kirsty made our wedding from start to finish and we couldn't have even dreamed of such an amazing day without her hard work and knowledge! Thank you so much! During all the tough times what with having a new baby who took up all our time, Kirsty was the one to direct us along the right path for our special day by giving us all her inside knowledge and contacts and supervising the whole affair while we sat back and went with the ride! La Residence was a truly spectacular venue and the staff and vibe there was out of this world, so professional and so splendid. Nothing can ever compete with those 3 perfect days spent staying there with all the family and we hold these memories close to our hearts forever.
